The cottage is secluded in a peaceful location, perfect for relaxing yet close enough to Castle Douglas for shopping, cafes and pubs etc. The welcome goodies were lovely and really appreciated. Spacious sitting room and all bedrooms are generous too. The decor is understated yet very appealing. Garden is well kept and great sitting out if the weather allows.
Driveway gates could be a little higher and better quality to keep dogs secure... but there are notes saying they should be kept on a lead. Not that practical for my spaniels that need to stretch their legs.

Gorgeous cottage in a peaceful location, perfect for relaxation, yet close to amenities and some lovely places to visit. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The welcome gift was a lovely touch and much appreciated.

Liked the shower kitchen and patio
Could do with black out blinds in rear bedrooms as daylight at 5am and curtains did not keep light out,
