Private Venice Beach Loft - Steps to the Beach & Canals

The location of the loft was great it was close to everything I had planed. The area was quiet and safe for two women I really enjoy the ease of moving around.

The main thing I didn't like was arriving and finding out there was no air condition in the Loft. In reading the description of the Loft there was no mention of no air condition. Me and my friend are both at the age that living without air is not FUN. While, I do understand there is cool nights at the Loft for health reasons it should be mention there is no air condition. I have never had to check for air condition before but after this situation I will. The next thing was my plane arrived late and we had issues at the airport my luggage was left in another state so this made us arrived very late to the Loft the code I was given didn't work. It took a while for me to get in touch with someone the fear that I was going to have to stay in my car for the night became a little overwhelming for me and my friend. Also, there was no mention in the description that the owners lived on the property that's something you don't find out until two days before you check in. Thank God the horror stories you hear about owners being on the property was not true in this case however I do think you should know that before booking.

This was hands down the best property i have ever stayed in. The location is just phenomenal the bed was so nice and the space was wonderful. Free parking, 5 minute walk to the beach, amazing kitchen and great hosts.

The only thing we thought was missing was AC but since this apartment is so close to the beach the wind kinda made up for it

The shampoo/conditioner

De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden. De locatie is perfect in het geval je graag in Venice wil verblijven. Er is altijd parkeerplaats in de buurt.

Helaas waren we bij aankomst teleurgesteld door de algemene indruk van het gebouw en het appartement. Er hing een onaangename, muffe geur die meteen opviel en niet verdween tijdens ons verblijf. Misschien komt dit van vocht omdat we dicht bij de Oceaan zijn? Maar zelfs onze kleren roken ernaar. Ook de staat van het gebouw en de ruimtes zoals de badkamer en het terras zijn verouderd en niet zo goed onderhouden, waardoor het geheel minder verzorgd aanvoelde dan verwacht. Vliegenramen zijn in zeer slechte staat, met gaten erin. Ongezellige verlichting binnen, dus reken niet op een cozy night. In het dak is een groot raam dat geen gordijn heeft en het hele appartement, en dus vooral het slaapgedeelte boven, onmogelijk te verduisteren is. Niet zo handig dat de grote dressing kast beneden naast de badkamer afgesloten is. Enkel boven is er een kleerkast. Er werden geen instructies achtergelaten met betrekking tot wat we moesten doen met vuilnis. De BBQ was vuil. We deden melding aan de poetsvrouw dat de wc hendel niet meer goed werkt, hopelijk is dat probleem ondertussen opgelost. Het appartement zelf voldeed aan de basisbehoeften, maar we hadden een betere algemene staat en meer comfort verwacht. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vonden wij daarom niet helemaal in balans. Samengevat: een uitstekende locatie (voor wie van Venice houdt), maar het appartement en het gebouw konden onze verwachtingen niet volledig waarmaken.
