Salve Vista Mare

In our opinion the BEST appartment in Ortigia for location and ammenities. Our hostess Maria was very communicative and helpful. Loved the unique and beautifully decorated apartment, super comfy bed, the rooftop terrace with views was a wonderful bonus, the coffee machine and washing machine was appreciated, the proximity to parking was ultra convenient! So happy we got everything we wanted and more for a great holiday !

The only downer for us was the tricky front door key entry (which gratefully our hostess did show us how to manage this but was stressful a couple of times fiddling with the lock with urgency), super low water pressure in the shower (aware this is likely all of ortigia). If you are planning on driving like we did make a note to turn immediate left on entry to Ortigia and use the alternative bridge. Its actually more convenient direct route to the apartment and parking. The window for open lane traffic in Ortigia is very narrow time slot. We only worked this out after a few days stay and are now expecting to receive a traffic fine or two! We were given instructions about limited traffic lane/ bridge use but still found it confusing as foreigners. For peace of mind just stick to the alternative bridge !

The location was great, the decor was very nicely styled and it was air-conditioned. It waswell-equipped and very clean.

The stairs were rather steep and the shower pressure could have been better.

The property is a fantastic location, it has everything you need for your stay, wonderful stay

Nothing for us it was perfect

This is a very clean, comfortable, well equipped property. The two separate quilts on the double bed is a great idea! There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t supplied. Maria is a very helpful host.
