The house was good for our needs. We were cycling the Loire cycleway and found it difficult to find accommodation in the area, so we were very glad to find this property. The weather was very hot and the house being an old stone building was relatively cool. We loved being out under the stars on the sun loungers in the evening.
It was in quite an isolated position so there were no restaurants nearby. We bought food in the mini market at Montsoreau before crossing the bridge and cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. Two of the bedrooms only had very small windows so night time ventilation was a problem.
