Forgot how much I liked Cadiz and this was a great location in the not-too-touristy barrio of La Vina, two minutes from the seafront and five to the mercado. In a pedestrian street so quite quiet at night. A ground-floor flat so no views and on the darker side but a walled patio out back that caught a few hours of mid-day sun, not that I spent much time there.@
Great comms with the owner until it came to having to download yet another app, one with one of the worst (non) privacy policies I've ever seen. Really? I MUST consent to allow you to share my personal data with 300 other data-hungry corporations in order to enter the property I've rented for a few nights? And then it didn't work. Nothing against this owner in particular but I wish more would give some thought to this kind of thing. Also, this is the first flat I've ever rented in Europe ... Maybe anywhere ... That didn't have a bread knife. Or a kettle. Although the kitchen looked great, it wasn't equipped to actually do much cooking in. So good for a few nights only in my view.

Goede locatie. Mooi appartement.
Qua hygiëne was dit een tegenvaller. Het appartement was totaal niet schoongemaakt. Overal lag er haar, kruimels, pluisjes en stof. Bij aankomst je schoenen uitdoen en op kousen of blote voeten rondlopen, voelde heel vies aan. Er bleef van alles aan je voeten plakken. Het kussen van de divan stonk ook.
Om binnen te kunnen in het appartement, moet je een app downloaden en met een Bluetoothsignaal de deur openen. Dat is heel fijn, op voorwaarde dat het werkt natuurlijk. De eigenaar had de app verkeerd geconfigureerd, waardoor de deur pas kon worden opengemaakt om 18 uur, in plaats van om 15 uur. Na een telefoontje was het probleem wel snel opgelost.
