The location was perfect. Close to everything, but far away to enjoy peace. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The property owners were very responsive. I highly recommend this property!

I was there for a convention and did not have the opportunity to cook.
There was NOT one single thing that I didn't like about this property! It was abeyound perfect

If this property needs one thing it is a good clean, a full redecoration, new furniture, and a lot of fresh air. I have never in my life seen so many air fresheners. I counted at least ten. They are there to hide the underlying stuffy smell that pervades the house. The smell in the downstairs bedroom was really unpleasant. I cannot put my finger on the underlying cause - maybe someone has smoked in it? Thick and fluffy it may be, but I did not want to walk on the bedroom carpet in bare feet.
Some unsightly 'dark marks' suggested the toilet bowl had not been cleaned properly after the previous renter. After some aggressive brushing I concluded the bowl was just old and scratched; a metaphor for the entire property. The ceiling above the shower had a large crack and a section that had been filled but not painted (see photo).
The kitchen is well fitted out, albeit with an odd collection of odds and ends. There may be a small collection of cook books but there are no chopping boards. (And we did ask the host).
It was not obvious from the photos but there is a gold motif Versace/Elton John sort of design approach in the living room/dining room. On arrival the table was led with similar gold-accented glasses and plates etc. There is even a set of 'yellow gold' cutlery should one feel the urge to go full bling. The plastic 3D 'art' on the dining area wall lights up.
The Booking.com ad for this property states the kitchen is shared. Any normal person may surmise that this means someone else has access to the kitchen. After two or three exchanges with booking.com they were unable to clarify the matter. I contacted the owner directly - the response was there is no shared kitchen. Why then does someone not edit the property information and save the ambiguity?
I would not stay at this property again.
