The location of the house was just superb. The house itself was charming and very traditional. The kitchen was well equipped - numerous dishes, mugs, pans etc which was great, rather than the usual half dozen. A good touch.
If I was being critical of the house, the decor and furnishings were quite tired. More so in the living room - little annoying things such as the curtains couldn’t be completely closed (and indeed the curtain hooks kept falling off), seating was not great. But for the rest of the house, it added to the charm.
