Amazing Sea View Big Pevero 800m from the Beach

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful sea-view home in Porto Cervo. The panoramic views were absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect for exploring the Costa Smeralda. The house was comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sardinia.

Wir hatten unsere Ankunft auf 22.00 Uhr vereinbart und mussten dafür 50 EUR extra zahlen. Wir hatten dann vom Flughafen aus zusätzlich unsere Ankunftszeit (tatsächlich 21.45 Uhr) per WhatsApp nochmals vorher mitgeteilt. Diese wurde leider nicht gelesen und die Schlüsselübergabe fand schließlich erst um 22.45 Uhr nach Ankunft des Mitarbeiters am Büro statt. Erst danach konnten wir in die Wohnung, die sich ca. fünf Minuten vom Büro entfernt befindet. Das war leider ein sehr unguter Start in den Urlaub. Leider war die Ausstattung der Küche wenig zweckmäßig (z.B. kein Brettchen zum Schneiden, keine Eierbecher, extrem viele Teller aber kaum zwei gleiche Gläser). Die Küche ist abgewohnt, die Spülmaschine und der Kühlschrank sind laut. Das Sofa ist durchgesessen und kaum noch nutzbar. Die Sauberkeit in der Küche war mangelhaft (Wasserkocher extrem schmutzig und an einer Pfanne klebten außen noch Käsereste)

The view from the property is excellent. It’s in a quiet and private location. Access is easy and the overall cleanliness was ok.

The ad for the property is a bit misleading. There IS a sofa bed, but it’s in…the kitchen, which is actually a combination kitchen and living room. We had to go to a real estate office to get the key, not a showstopper, but we had to follow the agent to the house anyway, so why didn’t he just meet us there? When we arrived at the house, there were no linens on the sofa bed, which we planned on using. The sofa bed is old with a big black stain on one of the pillows. Not really something great to wake up to on your Sardinian holiday. There was no soap, shampoo or laundry detergent, no coffee for the coffee maker, no paper towels…etc. It was missing the courteous small touches that many accommodations come with. In addition, the place is a bit dated, the shower is small…watch your head! And, to top it all off, we had to take the trash and re-cycling out to the road at the end of the driveway when we left. I’m surprised this place got as many good reviews from previous stays. Not worth the price in my opinion, there are likely many less costly and updated options out there.
