Spot clean, remodeled, quite comfy, 10m walk from Seibu Chichibu station

Electric kettle didn't work, neighbors were noisy and walls too thin, Apple tag on the keychain (privacy concern)

The facilities were very well maintained and sufficient for a short stay. It was also quite convenient to Seibu Chichibu station.

The floors were relatively thin, so footsteps from the upstairs unit could be heard clearly. The entry step from the shoe area to the unit was also very high, and would pose problems for people with difficulty taking stairs

Good location not far from the station, complete kitchen setup for simple meal preparation.

Th bath room area is separates from the main room and gets quite cold in the middle of the night so a bit challenging to go in the middle of the night due to the chill. No storage for our items.

The rooms were nice, modern, had a ton of natural light and comfortable. The actually place itself was lovely.

There was a bunch to dislike about the property. The check in was impersonal as there was no one checking us in, it was just a key box. The forms sent ahead of the stay felt invasive and despite filling it in, was continued to be asked for it and this only stopped when I said it was already filled in. The key itself had an AirTag on it that continually beeped. I understand it was for finding the key if it’s lost but having a tracker on me at all times that I don’t have access to is also invasive. And this is after the door takes a photo of you for “records.” We were woken up at 5 AM from stomping around on the upper floors, which didn’t stop even when checking out. They were also occurring until 10 PM, making it hard for my son to sleep. The place didn’t feel like a great value for money, and I couldn’t recommend it again.
