Near ATV Trails: Carlsbad Apt w/ Shared Fire Pit

The parking was very clearly labeled and the intructions for check-in and check-out were very clear. It was very clean and presentable. The hostess made fresh muffins, which was a nice gesture. The little yard was nice and there was an option to use a fire pit and grill.

Both mattresses are very used. I rolled into my partner. I do love a good cuddle, but to be forced into each other, especially when it's hot, doesn't make for a good night of sleep. I also feel like the pet fee at $75 was extremely high. I understand the risk involved, but maybe some tier options would be helpful. I have a very small and gentle dog, so the fee was a bit hard to swallow. Also, I will never understand a cleaning fee being charged but then be expected to clean..... The communication with the host was good beforehand but there was no checking in during the stay. Also, I was texted afterwards and asked to leave a review. I understand reviews are helpful and always leave them on my own. Being asked to leave one is just a personal ick to be honest.

The property was very inviting and comfortable. The owner is amazing. She welcomed us just like family. We even arrived to fresh baked cinnamon loaf muffins. They provided everything that we needed plus. A must stay if you plan on visiting Carlsbad.

Apartment B was excellent. Fully stocked with spices, condiments, utensils, dishes and pots-pans. Coffee was pods or fill your own pod. Very clean and inviting. Tall shower. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location to Carlsbad Caverns with a 30 minute drive. Closest accommodations to the Caverns. R & R are excellent hosts. Fresh baked muffins welcomed us to this amazing apartment. I cant wait to return and stay here.
