Great view of the mountains & lake from the rear lounge. Very quiet. Easy walk (flat terrain) to the lake and town centre (15-20 mins). Very spacious, reasonably clean and provided most facilities for a short stay.
The decor was dated. Mainly clean but also a few cobwebs. Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfortable and quite pricey for the state of the property (especially compared to other places we experienced in NZ). Missing a few thoughtful "creature comforts" we experienced with other facilities with a similar price point.

Nice location, fairly close to town and Lake Te Anau.Good size kitchen, dining, and living areas.
Loved having a full washer and a dryer.
Did not use the garage but that would be nice in poor weather.
Some items could be updated in the house.
The 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds is a bit small - especially for adults. Floors (mostly in this bedroom) squeak very loud.
