Location was fabulous. The seating area at the front and back were great. Very comfortable bedrooms. We were six people and could cope with one bathroom as there is a separate toilet. Great to have basics like oil etc in the kitchen. Great communication before we got there.
There was a lack of cleaning products such as dish cloths and paper towels but this was minor and we bought and left at the property.

This is an old cottage that has been renovated and it has a lot of charm. It has a nice garden and easy parking with great access to Te Anau shopping, eating and relaxing. The cottage is cosy and conveniently located. There are three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds with nice clean linen. The kitchen is also nice and quite well stocked with condiments left by previous guests.
1. There is an unpleasant and lingering smell that seems to come from the shower drain, after one has a shower.
2. The washer drier is a nightmare to operate. It is slow and clunky. The drier function is a pain. Even the ‘express program’ spins forever. Recommend replacement with a simple washer and separate drier.
3. It would be helpful to provide a few more towels per person.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable, and a great base for a few days to explore the area, including a day trip to Milford Sound. It was good to have a couple of extra appliances and some pantry staples, and it was a short walk to the town, which was convenient.
