Homestay is the best choice to experience Sri Lankan hospitality and family. We experienced a true Sri Lankan welcome and kindness by this delightful family ( Mum, Dad and three awesome children). The bedroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had the most stunning view from our own balcony. We ate a delicious home cooked Sri Lankan dinner while enjoying the sunset across the valley and hills. This homestay is well positioned on the Pekoe Trail, we walked Stage 18 and part of Stage 19 which makes for an easier day the next day. We highly recommend this beautiful place and awesome homestay opportunity!

We loved to stay here! The views are beyond amazing and it’s definitely worth it to do the little extra mile to get here during the pekoe trail. Dinner and breakfast were home cooked and really really good. You basically have your own little tiny house that you stay in, so you have all you need right there. We felt really welcomed by the family and immediately had a good & comfy feeling. If you do the Pekoe Trail ➔ it’s a must to stay here! After a long day of hiking it was the perfect reward, watching the sunset from the balcony!!

Die Lage war phänomenal. Der Balkon mit Hängematte und Blick über das Tal ist einzigartig. Gastgeber hat sich gekümmert und uns gute Tipps gegeben, sowie uns TukTuks organisiert, da PickMe nicht so gut funktioniert. Haben diese Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung über den Pekoe Trail besucht, sie liegt dafür recht günstig nicht weit vom Weg entfernt. Wasserkocher und Tee gab es, sowie Wasser. Wer in der Nähe ist und eine einfache, aber schöne Unterkunft sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig, wir würden es empfehlen.

Die Bettdecken waren recht kratzig. Haben zwar trotzdem gut geschlafen, dies könnte man allerdings verbessern. Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein, es gab nicht viel Besteck.
