Welcome to The Maury River Treehouse! This luxury timber frame cabin sits on the banks of the Maury River. Construction was built almost entirely by local craftsmen, and this is truly a show stopper. It is located a short 9 miles from Lexington, Washington, and Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, a paddler's paradise, or a relaxing retreat! The timber frame construction, stone fireplace and gourmet kitchen will take your breath away! You won’t want to leave!
This cozy cottage has it all. Wait till you wake up in the king-size bed, push a button, and your automatic blackout blinds open to reveal the flowing waters of the Maury River. Walk into the bathroom, where you will find a custom walk-in shower and heated floors. Brew a cup of coffee and sit on the deck watching the river flow by and deer, foxes, ducks, blue herons, hawks and even a bald eagle enjoy their mornings. Sit on the bank of the river or even in the river if you like, cast a line or get in a kayak. After a day on the river come home and rinse off outside because there is nothing like showering in a outdoor shower looking at the river! Wind-down while you cook dinner and sit by the fireplace. This really is an amazing place!

This is a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very peaceful and calming. Host are excellent and house is clean and like home away from home. Love the Heated bathroom floor.
