About this house rental
Welcome to our beautifully remodeled 1880s home in Rockbridge Baths, VA, situated in the Shenandoah Valley on 1.6 acres of serene land and bordering Hays Creek. While you'll be tempted to spend your days relaxing by the creek or in a rocking chair on the covered porch, there's a wealth of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. Explore nearby hiking trails, sample wines at one of the five local wineries, or catch a movie at Hull's Drive-In. 25 mins from Lexington & 35 mins from Staunton.
First Floor:
The kitchen (2 barstools located at island), casual dining nook (sits 4 people), formal dining room (sits 6 people), living room (couch, 2 sitting chairs & Roku smart TV), 1/2 bath, and washer/dryer are located on the first floor.
Second Floor:
There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The King bedroom is located on your left at the top of the stairs with a full bath en suite (stand up shower). The King bedroom has a closet, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a Roku smart TV. The Queen bedroom is located on your right at the top of stairs, also with a full bath en suite (shower tub). The Queen bedroom has a walk-in closet, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a Roku smart TV.
Hays Creek Cottage sits on 1.6 acres which you will have full access to explore! There is a gravel road (rarely traveled!) that runs through our property. Our home is located on one side of the road with the other half of our property bordering the creek where we have a fire pit and 4 Adirondack chairs for you to utilize.

Great place! Really loved the quiet location. The creek adds a nice peaceful sound track. The house is nicely renovated with some antique charm. Everything works well. Great value and hope to come back.

This lovely property is in an idyllic setting on a quiet country lane, across from a creek. We were delighted with the lodgings, and the amenities were outstanding. We had two little girls with us, who loved the flowers growing in the yard, and creek. It seemed as if all the furnishings were new, or nearly new, and the only negatives that I might mention, were that our bed was ultra firm ( a little too firm for me) . Overall, a very fine property, and every comfort has been thought out for the guests.

I loved how comfortable the house and property felt. While it was about 20 minutes to the closest gas station, I didn't feel isolated. The property was quiet, had great amenities and allowed for total relaxation!
