Less than 2 hours from Paris by train, the Gîte de la Maingotière is an old stone building of over 180m² that can accommodate up to 11 people for a stay by the river (equipped for swimming). Surrounded by lush, abundant nature on over 3 hectares, the gîte is part of the La Maingotière eco-village, a small hamlet where 3 families live in independent houses. Here, you have the possibility of being completely independent in the cottage, with its adjoining garden, terraces and private entrance. And you can also enjoy the presence of the locals who will be delighted to show you around the eco-village and share their artisanal skills during dedicated workshops. You can cook in the gîte but also enjoy the delicious sourdough bread/brioche, hand-kneaded and baked on-site in a wood-fired oven by Baptiste (between €3 and €6 per loaf, plain/seeded/buckwheat/brioche), order breakfast, an aperitif, or a vegetarian meal delivered to your kitchen door by Agathe (between €8 and €25 per person). You will also find La P'tite Dernière craft beers brewed by Vanessa (between €5.50 and €6 per 75cl bottle). We operate on a trust basis; at the end of your stay, simply count and pay your bill.
