Granite Bay Luxury Home with Premium Amenities

We stayed at this property from Jan 26th to Feb 7th and had an overall wonderful stay. The home is incredibly beautiful. Joshua, the host, was very responsive, kind, and easy to reach.There were challenges:-The front gate broke down twice, and while it was fixed the next day, the rain and wind later prevented it from closing properly for several days.-The house wasn’t as clean as expected, and there were no cleaning supplies. The dryer was so full of lint that it wasn’t drying efficiently.-The backyard fence had large gaps underneath, which allowed our Great Dane service dog to slip through. While we take full responsibility for keeping him contained, it was unexpected, and there was no indication (then) that dogs needed to be leashed in the yard. This led to some overly dramatic complaints from the neighbors, who seemed unhappy with the home being a short-term rental. It’s important to note that service dogs, like any dogs, are not perfect 100% of the time — they are working dogs, but they also have downtime when they are not tasking. Keanu was never aggressive or a threat in any way, but his size and bark seemed to alarm neighbors unnecessarily.-When we arrived, the trash bins were already full, so we had no place to put our garbage for a week.Despite these minor issues, we truly had a fantastic time and would definitely consider staying again. The home is stunning and the location is serene. With small improvements, this would be an absolutely perfect getaway!
