I Street Capsule Hostel

The self check in system is not efficient, I had issues entering and no one responded, knocked the door and rang the bell and no answers, they won’t reply messages and there is no other way of contacting them… I left my luggage inside after check out (part of the service) but again no reply and no one would open… 1 girl staff and cleaning staff helped me out! Thanks to them I got everything resolved

Good location near main sightseeing area, clean rooms, but it’s not so easy for me to check in self.

The bathroom is dirty

My stay at I Street Capsule Hostel had some good points, but unfortunately the check-in experience was very stressful. The property uses self check-in, but even though I had a confirmed booking, I was unable to check in because I had not received the required confirmation/access code. I was standing outside for quite a long time trying to figure out what to do. I called the property several times, but no one answered, and some calls were even disconnected. There was also no staff member available at the property to help. After a long wait, someone who was already inside finally came and helped me, but by that time I had already gone through a lot of unnecessary stress. For a self check-in property, the access code and instructions should be sent clearly and in advance, and there should be someone reachable by phone in case a guest has a problem. Another disappointing point was breakfast. At the time of booking, breakfast was mentioned, but later I found out that breakfast was not actually provided. The capsule/room also had an unpleasant smell. Noise is another major issue. You can hear people coming and going, opening and closing their capsules, and moving around throughout the night, so it can be quite disturbing if you are a light sleeper. On the positive side, the location is good and the price is reasonable, so it can still be considered value for money if you only need a basic place to sleep. Overall, the location and price are good, but the self check-in process, lack of support, misleading breakfast information, smell, and noise seriously affected my stay.
