Casa Maria - Quiet Courtyard Apartment near Porta Nuova Station & City Center

Davide, was extremely helpful and let us into the property earlier than the agreed time. He also provided us with some useful information about restaurants and shops in the area. We went to 3 of the restaurants and they were all excellent. I would particularly recommend Scannabue, which was superb. The property was perfect for us; very close to the station and only a short walk into the centre. There was a lift, which made things even easier, although we were only on the first floor. The apartment overlooked an internal courtyard, which some people might think was scruffy, but we liked the feeling of being in a real community. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and had everything that we required to cook a simple meal. It was very quiet, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom even had a washing machine. There were reading lamps by the beds as well as a standard lamp in the sitting room and lamps on the desks, all of which made it feel cosy and these are things which are often missing in other apartments where we have stayed. There was also a dishwasher and a decent supply of dishwasher tablets ( another thing which is often missing).

There was only one thing which needed sorting, and that was that the shower was very slow to drain, so that the shower tray was very full when I washed my hair once. However, I am being really picky here, and I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and I especially want to highlight the white towels and bed linen — it really made the apartment feel fresh and comfortable. The apartment had everything needed for a cozy and relaxing stay.

Very nice appartement with one bedroom and one living room that serves as a second bedroom, with a well equipped separate kitchen. Perfect for 4 persons. Davide our host was extremely helpful and flexible, we had a very nice stay and would definitely go back. Nice backyard view with balconies from other apartments, quiet enough so that we don’t hear the busy streets around during day or night. The apartment was clean and equipped with pristine linens and towels. The apartment is very well located, you can do everything in Turin by foot from there.
