Ferrara Centro Medievale - Duomo e Castello

Fantastic location, a truly beautiful duplex with all you need, touches of design here and there. All worked! We loved the place dearly, it felt like home. Would absolutely stay again.

The host, with whom I only talked via booking.com app, felt disproportionately hostile, asking for an exorbitant price (some 80 euros or so) for early or late check-in (luckily we arrived in the established window), that spoilt the beginning of the experience. Also, the host never cared and completely ignored our request to return the city tax, given that if one buys a full cultural pass to see the museums, the city hall wants to give you your city tax back. The house has a humidity problem, and they clearly use lots of bleach to stop the mold. It was zero problem for us, it was clear that they were trying to solve the problem, but could be important for people allergic to it. Also, because of the humidity, the sheets had the characteristic smell, we just changed them (the house had extra) and washed the smelly one in the washing machine. I would suggest that the house should get better bed linen, it was the only item that felt cheap in an otherwise luxury apartment. I only wish that the host could care a bit more about the guests. Otherwise the place itself is fabulous and 5 stars.

It was well equipped and on good location.

The check in is stressful. It does not take only 60s as they say and also just having electronic keys is stressful - constantly having to make sure that your phone battery is not empty and that your internet is working. The whatsapp number in the booking app is not correct. The street can be super nosy at night so its hard to sleep, with people always passing.

L'emplacement était parfait, juste à côté du centre mais pas trop près non plus. Appartement très fonctionnel.
