Great location-quiet - close to amenities

The location is excellent and was the main reason this stay worked for us. Liverpool Street, Barbican, Farringdon and the Elizabeth Line are all within easy walking distance, and having Waitrose, other supermarkets and Argos nearby was very convenient.
That said, the property itself needs significant maintenance. It was clean, but many areas felt tired and neglected. The upstairs floors are extremely uneven. While I don't mind older properties and their quirks, these floors felt beyond charming character and may be an issue for some guests.
The wardrobe and bedside tables were in poor condition, and the bedside tables were so unstable that I wouldn't trust them with a glass of water. Several floorboards were lifting underfoot, which didn't inspire confidence. A full-length mirror would also be a simple but worthwhile improvement.
Communication via Booking.com wasn't great, although I did get through immediately when I phoned. I asked about luggage storage after the 10am checkout and was offered several options. However, paying £30 to leave bags for just three hours felt excessive and left a slightly sour final impression.

La posizione dell’appartamento è sicuramente comoda e ben collegata, e anche la comunicazione con l’host è stata positiva: risponde rapidamente ed è disponibile.
Purtroppo ci sono state diverse mancanze che hanno inciso sul soggiorno.
Avevamo prenotato per 6 persone e nell’annuncio era indicata la presenza di due letti e un divano letto, ma all’arrivo il divano letto non era stato preparato e non ci sono state date indicazioni su dove trovare lenzuola e asciugamani.
Inoltre, lenzuola e asciugamani forniti risultavano macchiati. Anche alcuni aspetti della casa non erano in condizioni ottimali: le luci del bagno e della camera sfarfallavano continuamente e non funzionavano correttamente.
Infine, la casa era molto calda (cosa comprensibile dato che non è presente l’aria condizionata), ma mancava anche il ventilatore, che invece era indicato tra le dotazioni presenti.
Nel complesso, la posizione e la disponibilità dell’host sono punti a favore, ma le varie mancanze organizzative e di manutenzione hanno reso il soggiorno meno confortevole del previsto.
