Treelined retreat Lenah Valley

The property is light, airy, clean snd tidy.

It was so cold! There was a heater in the main living area and in the reception room which we did use but the bedrooms were like ice boxes. Thankfully I had brought my hot water bottle with me! Entry to the property is not for the feint hearted! The path up to the house is precarious and the ramp up to the entry is super steep and would be treacherous in icy conditions - it was tricky early morning/evening when not raining or icy. There is lighting up the path way but being solar, unfortunately was short lived and didn't work particularly well when you most needed it. I had a couple of surprise encounters with a wallaby in the garden - think it shocked us both! With winter daylight hours being short, a light inside the actual garage would have been helpful - the light is on the outside and is not particularly bright for loading/unloading (had to make multiple trips up and down!).
