2 Bed Retreat with amazing see view

We stayed at this property during the May Bank Holiday weekend and had a wonderful experience. The property is very well maintained and thoughtfully equipped for families, with plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep children entertained. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed, featuring reliable Wi-Fi, a cosy sofa, and a lovely kitchen. We especially appreciated the practical serving window connecting the kitchen directly to the dining area, which added both convenience and charm. The garden area is spacious and offers beautiful views of the ocean, nearby horse trails, and scenic hiking routes, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. The owner was extremely friendly, welcoming, and truly a gentleman throughout our stay. We would be delighted to return to this property in the future, subject to availability and our travel plans.

Nous avons aimé le lieu, le calme et la vue! Nous nous sommes sentis comme dans un cocon… tout en étant près de la ville grâce au bus dont l’arrêt est juste à côté de la maison. Je recommande chaleureusement cette petite maison charmante, confortable et bien équipée!

Outstanding view from the large picture window across the downs to the sea. Nice garden but where were the cushions for the armchairs?

The facilities were old and poorly maintained. Beds were uncomfortable, bedding old and of poor quality. No freezer and the small ice compartment needed defrosting with no door and an old bag of frozen vegetables in it. Fridge door was full of old partly used sauces and even a child's unused medicine. Cutlery drawer and bottom drawer had no fronts which were left unfitted in one of the general cupboards. The ancient oven took double the normal time to heat up a veggie pie. Would not want to attempt baking or roasting. Towels were small, hard and worn. Could be a really nice place if refurbished and maintained to a proper standard for rentals at these prices.
