We were going to Kings Theatre and it was literally a few minutes walk, and also near lots of bars and restaurants so location great.
Didn’t realise though that a private bathroom was not attached to the room! You had to go downstairs and use a key, so a little inconvenient when a needed to pee at 4 in the morning and had to get dressed to go to the loo and negotiate a rather steep narrow staircase whilst still half asleep!
All in all it was good, room was clean, bathroom clean, but would probably not book again due to bathroom situation. Place could do with a paint, and refresh, was a little tired looking, but if you don’t mind the bathroom thing then for the location is good value for money.
Only other thing was the amount of rubbish dumped. We had a side room which only looked onto another building which was fine, but there were pallets, shopping trolleys and split bags of rubbish all over, and also at the front when you come out and down the steps there was rubbish all at ground level which did spoil the look
