EMILIA - Los Cristianos, heated pool, spacious terrace, fibre net, tv channels

The communication before, during and after our stay was very clear with our host. They have a minimal approach which appreciated as it wasn't too intrusive. The property itself is fantastic - very clean and very well furnished / setup. We didn't want for anything. We travelled as 2 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of space to relax and the balcony was fantastic. The location of the property is at the top corner of the development, which is a holiday resort. This does mean that it's a steep climb up the hill from the pools to the room which is fine if you're fit but might be a struggle if not. Parking is free and easily accessible from the apartment (50m away) but is not part of the development - it is a piece of undeveloped land accessed through the side gate. Not a problem but hard to find on arrival as the listing does not include any information about it. We had a rental car and the location of the apartment was perfect for accessing everything we wanted but this was also the only real downside to the apartment - due to it's situation in the development, it is immediately next to main roads coming off / onto the highway so there is very loud road noise from 7/8am through to 11pm. Whilst awake, this wasn't much of a problem as we were also loud and going about our business but once you get to bed, it's a struggle. The windows must be single glazed as it feels like you're sleeping on the roadside. We got used to it after a few nights but I would advise bringing ear plugs with you, especially if you are a light sleeper. We would book again as this was the only probem we had and easily overcome with ear plugs. The TV, Wifi, etc was all fine. The pools were never busy and were approx 20c which was fine when the sun was out. We didn't try the onsite cafe/restaurant so can't comment but saw others enjoying the food which seemed fine.

Just the road noise due to its proximity to the main roads. The host can't really do anything about this and can be overcome with ear plugs.

Apartment was lovely, the huge balcony was great with nice furniture to relax. Beds were very comfortable.

The apartment is a great size- so spacious! The balcony is fabulous.

The pool was supposed to be heated but was still freezing!

Бассейн был холодным. Солнце на террасе только ~до 15.00 (в январе).
