Porto Antigo II Poolside Appartment

Localização excelente, condomínio muito bem tratado em cima da praia .Apartamento excelente, aliado a localização, não podia ter pedido melhor.

The location was fantastic along with the pool. The pictures they have used are old, the place actually looks better than the pictures. However there is no hammock outside.

Waiting to get the keys for the apartment and then waiting another 50 mins for it to be cleaned. We should have been able to check in from 2 but had to wait till gone 5. Also payment at the property was a nightmare. It was not clear that cash was needed or to use Revoult, something we had never used. The main door was a nightmare to shut and looked like it would break at any minute. Also both toasters in the room broken. The kitchen and the items in the kitchen looked like they needed a really good clean.

This apartment is centrally located. You can see the beach and sea from the terrace and it is only a few steps to the pool. The town is a short walk away, making it an ideal place for self catering. The apartment is spacious with 2 double bedrooms (one being a mezzanine bedroom). It is modern and clean with everything you need. The pictures on booking.com do not show the bathroom renovations and welcome additions to the outside area such as a large dining table. The complex is very well maintained and the 24 hour security guys are great. The host is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

A few things like dish clothes and washing up liquid would be welcomed. Also more than 1 tea towel and a kettle would be useful as well as more than 1 bin bag for the kitchen bin. Another thing to keep in mind is that the apartment was not cleaned for our 12 day stay, however there is a broom, a mop and a washing machine in the property so bedding and towels can be washed. On arrival we had to pay for the accommodation in cash (euros).
