The property in itself is good with a decent location thats not too much within the town or too far away.

1. We were 8 of us and there for two nights. The rooms are on a different floor and the kitchen/dining was on a different floor with one water purifier in the kitchen. Multiple requests for a jug or water bottle to keep water in rooms fell on deaf ears for the first night. A dispenser was provided on by 11am of second day. Imagine having an old parents or being physically incapable of collecting water from a different floor everytime. 2. 2 of the Rooms are a dead view I. E. They face a wall. 3. The "Homestay" had exactly 8 plates and spoon. So manage your food distribution accordingly. 4. Breakfast was charged at more than 200/- per person. It included 8 Vadas that came in a newspaper, 20 idlis and the tea couldn't cok because the only flask was used the prevous evening. 5. The person came to clean the 8 plates, 30 mins after the food arrived... You can imagine the warmth with which the service was being rendered. On highlighting the frustration of such limited food and unavailability of plates, we were told "You are fighting, this is what you get in a homestay" to the level of being threatened. 6. Day 2 breakfast was 8 puris, 8 plain dosa, 13 vada. This is for 8 people, mind you. We visit Ooty every year, happy to declare this as the worse experience so far. A place that charges 18k per night, needs to up their game in the hospitality domain. Train your staff better, make better presentation or your food or declare your inability to provide so that guests can come prepared. Overall, will not recommend and I am hoping that this is just an off - case.
