Magnetic Glamping

Beautiful glamping tents set amongst lovely tropical gardens, set behind secure fencing, great little kitchenette with great sized bathroom. Loved the magnesium/mineral pool, & location so close to the ferry.

The beds were soft.

We absolutely loved our stay! We loved watching the rock wallabies from our bed!

Clean and close to terminal not overcrowded

Construction site right beside nothing they can do about that

+ nice layout with the tents around the pool with the bbq area + airconditioning in the tent + good location if you need to get to the ferry quickly and don‘t mind the traffic noise + a nice restaurant and cafe nearby + easy roadside parking + spontaneous booking (few hours before arrival) was possible + we had a wallaby feeding next to our tent one morning :)

- we had to switch tents right at check-in because we did not want to sleep in a bed where the pilows had gecko poop on them - after calling some numbers we reached someone and could move to the tent next to it - very noisy as it‘s at the main street of magnetic island and near the ferry terminal, maybe not the perfect spot for staying in a tent; - the tents are not private as you can hear everything your neighbour says two tents further away - the kitchen is not that well equipped, there are just some random cooking utensils/cutlery - no space to put down your toiletries in the bathroom - there were prohibitive signs everywhere (to not shower longer than 3 minutes, do not leave the aircon on when you are away or you have to pay a fee, do not throw anything else in the toilet than toiletpaper or you have to pay a fee etc.) that made you feel not welcome, we can understand that these are important things in an eco glamping tent but would appreciate it to have it not everywhere plastered around the tent but maybe summarised in one information note
