Mountain View Oasis

Loved everything about the place. We have booked to go next year and year after. It is a beautiful apartment with everything you could need. You do need a hire car though to get around

There is nothing to dislike

Der eigene Privatpool war etwas ganz besonderes. Schöne Terrasse, ruhige Lage. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen, wenn man sich entspannen möchte. Trotz der Lage in dem kleinen Örtchen ist man schnell an der Autobahn. Nur ein paar Kilometer entfernt befinden sich ein Supermarkt und eine Tankstelle. An der Unterkunft kann man zwar nicht parken, aber ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es einen öffentlichen kostenfreien Parkplatz. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen wollen.

Die Küche hätte etwas besser ausgestattet sein können. Es gab nur 2 sehr kleine Kochtöpfe, ein größerer Kochtopf und eine Sslatschüssel haben schon gefehlt. Es gab übrigens keine Kaffeemaschine.

It was a fantastic stay. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet was great. It was also fantastic that the accommodation had a private pool. Communication was always very fast and very friendly.

Good sized PRIVATE pool and patio area. Very quite village but close to a supermarket, petrol station and road network. Free parking just around the corner from the accomodation. Friendly villagers we spoke to. Very quite air-con unit that you could leave on the lowest fan setting while sleeping and could hardly be heared.

Having to confirm with the owners three times over several months that the pool was private and not communal as indicated by correspondence sent by the owners several times. Being told IMPORTANT information regarding pool access the day before we travelled was very poor, and had this information been in the listing we would have cancelled our stay. Access door to property sticks and can only be opened half way so a little awkward to get in and out especially with suitcases, the light above the access door doesn't work so opening the key box on arrival at night was also awkward. Lock on the door to the room doesn't work and has to be doubled locked in order to keep the door shut and prevent local cats wandering in. There was only two pillows (more like chair cushions) on the bed, not the five shown in the listing photos, so we had to used our initiative and fold the quilt up to provide a suitable place to rest your head while sleeping. Our stay was for 10 days so five coat hangers was not sufficent for two people so ended up leaving clothes in the cases. Overall the property could do with a little refurbishment. The locks on the property need some attention, the access door needs fixing and the bougainvillia is very pretty but is overgrown and has grown through the sunshade, it needs cutting back and the sunshade needs repairing and cleaning. I guess the pictures in the listing are from sometime ago as there is no sign of the overgrown bougainvilla! Finally, something that is out of the control of the owners but needs to be mentioned is the noise from cats prowling over the roof all night that sounds like something or someone was in the room. We are talking nearly every hour and was quite disruptive for sleeping.
