The location of the apartment, the apartment was big, nicely decorated, good facilities.

One week before our vacation, Yacob messaged us stating that the 3-bedroom, 2nd-floor apartment we booked months in advance was unavailable for our first two nights. Instead, we were forced to move to a 2-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor. Due to the short notice, we had no choice but to accept. Communication was incredibly confusing. It was initially unclear that the replacement apartment only had a single bedroom. When I pointed out that four people could not sleep in one living room, Yacob dismissively told me to cancel the booking entirely. His excuse was an accommodation conflict due to a "conference," which is completely unacceptable. As a paying customer who booked months ahead, it is not my problem if a host wants to favor someone else or maximize profits. To make matters worse, Yacob’s handling of a partial refund was highly suspicious. He insisted that I cancel our official Booking.com reservation, pay him cash upon arrival, and he would give some money back. I refused; doing this would have stripped away our customer protections and potentially left us completely stranded with no accommodation right before our trip. If a host genuinely wants to offer a refund for an downgrade, they should do it officially or provide cash at check-in without demanding a cancellation. The main issue, however, was that the 3rd-floor apartment was entirely unfit for renting. It was filthy and smelled overwhelmingly of stale cigar smoke that had settled deep into the furniture and curtains; keeping the windows open did nothing to clear the air. The provided towels were heavily stained. I attempted to use a face towel, which immediately caused my skin to itch and break out in a rash, forcing me to re-shower and dry off with a clean T-shirt. Even the hair dryer handle was covered in a strange white residue—presumably dried cream.

We stayed for 4 night and had an amazing time , the host couldn’t be more helpful and made checking in so easy and stress free, the property was clean and tidy , had every thing we needed , I would definitely recommend and we will be back to stay , thank you for hosting us

La posizione della struttura eccezionale vicino Piazza Damn, ma comunque senza trambusto e rumori, le finestre del soggiorno danno direttamente sul canale! Una poesia! L’appartamento è grande e ben arredato. Rispetto alle piccole case di Amsterdam è un vero lusso!! il proprietario è cordiale e accogliente, sempre disponibile in tutto e per tutto!
