Great location- when you find it ! (turn left at ten chemist shop and follow track round). Comfortable , clean, good furniture. Good shared facilities tables on terrace , drying kettle etc .

De perfecte plek als in Ahangama verblijft. De familie die het runt is geweldig lief en zorgzaam. Heerlijke kamer met fijne bedden. We komen hier 100% terug.

The location was very central and convenient for getting around the area. The owner and their family were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower had excellent hot water. It was also a thoughtful touch to receive water and a banana on arrival and again when leaving. Drinking water was available outside the bedroom, which was convenient during the stay. The terrace area was pleasant and offered a small view of the beach, making it a nice place to sit and relax.

My stay had a few issues that made it less comfortable than expected. The traffic noise nearby was quite noticeable at night, with cars, lorries, and tuk-tuks frequently beeping, which made it difficult to sleep. The bedroom fan also squeaked when set above speed 3, which added to the disturbance. There was limited sound insulation between rooms. The bathroom partition between my room and the neighboring room was open at the top, so I could hear everything happening in their bathroom, and if their bathroom door was open, I could also hear noise from their bedroom. Each night there was also a tapping noise coming from outside the bedroom, possibly from something hitting the nearby galvanized roof. The room itself was quite basic, with cement floors and minimal amenities (for example, only a small hand towel was provided). The bathroom paint could do with refreshing, and the bedroom door stuck on the floor and would benefit from sanding at the bottom so it opens more easily. I also noticed a few small creeper bugs in the bathroom around the sink area and one or two in the bedroom. The bedroom mats could also use a deep clean. Finally, the sign to find the property was not very clear. It might help future guests if a sign were placed at the front of the store with a clearer pathway indicating the entrance. With some attention to maintenance, cleaning, and soundproofing, the stay could be much more comfortable for future guests.
