Coco Bliss - Ahangama

Dylan and his family were so welcoming and kind, it truly did feel like a home away from home! They went above and beyond to offer activities, take you to things, and of course the best home cooked meals. This was our best accommodation in the whole trip! The location right by the beach was ideal, and it was nice being a little outside of Ahangama. Special shout out to Brandy, the sweetest boy, we loved having the dog around!

Amazing host. Dylan and his family made us feel super welcomed. He gave us recommendations and arranged things for us at a good price. His wife made us an amazing meal for dinner and breakfast. They sat with us and had conversations and were always looking out for us. Felt super welcome. One of the best stays in Sei Lanka

We had a good overall stay here for six nights. What really stood out was how kind, friendly, and helpful everyone was. They were always willing to help with whatever we needed and suggested several places to visit, which genuinely made our stay more enjoyable. One evening, they also prepared a full Sri Lankan dinner for us with several different dishes. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated the effort they put into making us feel welcome. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained, and everything smelled fresh. The outdoor area was spacious, with plenty of places to sit and relax. The Wi-Fi and connectivity were also good throughout our stay, and we really appreciated having a small tea and coffee station outside the room.

The room was a little small, especially once we opened our luggage, but it was comfortable enough for our stay. When booking, I understood from the listing that the room would have a separate balcony, but we were given a room at the back. The bathroom was clean, but it would have been nice to have basic toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel provided. Breakfast had different Sri Lankan dishes on different days, so there was variety, but it was generally one main item with some chutney. On some days, it was a little difficult for us to have as breakfast. Having an additional option such as eggs, bread, or juice would have made it more enjoyable, especially for a six-night stay. Overall, these were only small things for us. We had a pleasant stay, and the cleanliness, peaceful outdoor space, and especially the warmth and helpfulness of the people made the experience a positive one.

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome sri lankan food. The family was super lovely and hospitable. The location is right next to the beautiful kabalana beach. Perfect accommodation. Would recommend to everyone!
