A lovely short break in the Purbecks

Set in a beautiful location with great views over the Purbeck Hills. Compact and snug and very comfortable. Is a few minutes walk from the local pub which does food and has a great atmosphere. Allows Immediate access to plenty of picturesque walks and is a short drive from the best of Dorsets coast.

A beautifully furnished tiny house in a wonderful location.

Absolutely comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. The view from the garden was beautiful and the location in Purbeck was excellent. We had a lovely time. Stephen and Nik were so helpful by text and it was a shame they were away.

The only downside was lack of a functioning kitchen to rustle up a nice meal after a day’s touring.

Ideal location for visiting the area

This was a well fitted out self-catering apartment in a beautiful location. The hosts were very fiendly and helpful in ensuring that we could make the most of our week away. The apartment is part of the hosts cottage but with separate entrances front and back. Through the french windows at the back we were able to access the lovely garden and the views of the beautiful countryside were outstanding. Staying in this peaceful location was so refreshing and gave us the best nights of sleep that we have had in a long time. Dorset has so many wonderful places to visit and many of them are within very easy reach of the location. We would be happy to return to this apartment and are happy to recommend it to others.

Great location , superb property and well worth the money.

We were self catering but ate out during our stay. The property was superbly located for our needs and was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who wanted to stay in the area. The property had some nice touches which added to the quality of stay.

Comfortable and characterful cottage studio with access to a lovely garden

This a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a quiet little village very close to Corfe. I didn't meet Stephen and Niki as they were having a few days away, but their instructions were super-clear and everything was as - and where - I expected it to be. The old post office has a lot of character and Stephen and Niki have maintained its unique charm (including the George Rex post box in the front wall) while ensuring all comforts and a modern, unfussy style. It's immaculately clean and there is beer, water and milk in the fridge to welcome you on arrival. A high point for me was sitting of an evening on the little bench outside the French doors watching the birds swoop around the lovely garden.

It met our needs for a short stay.

Location was acceptable. Owners were available by text and checked we were comfortable. The garden was sunny and the property was warm. It was very compact.

Parking was on the road which was rather busy and this was not made clear. The only means of cooking is a microwave, which was stated in the particulars, but we had to rely on microwave meals.

Cosy place to stay. Lovely to sit out in the garden. Comfy bed. Delightful hosts - very helpful. Great walking from the door.

Not easy to self-cater, although it has a multi function mini-oven / microwave. No inside table to eat at. But there is a good pub just down the road.

Perfect, peaceful, compact, beautiful location

A perfect cosy little bolt hole for a lovely weekend break. Simple and beautifully laid out. Stephen & Niki were very helpful. Long garden an extra treat. Church Knowle is a gem of a village: charming, peaceful and perfectly located for exploring Purbeck. Hill behind is magical

Cute place, spotless, lovely hosts.

The village is absolutely beautiful, great walks nearby, lovely pub also, the cottage annex we stayed in was new (or looked new) and nicely done.
