Auckland airport homes six minutes from airport three bedrooms two and half bathrooms

A Homely accommodation, well located for public transport, eating places, supermarket/ food store. 5 of us (hubby - Sam, Son - Kresh and friends Denise and Jacqui, and I had a lovely time in this Māngere pleasant home. We were delighted to find a new parkrun, Māngere Bridge parkrun had started just beyond the village and we were able to take a leisurely walk there on Saturday 22nd August and have our 5k parkrun fix and a new parkrun flag. The parkrun community here are so welcoming, to fellow parkrunners around the globe and other visitors to Auckland, we highly recommend this parkrun and this accommodation, which is so near to the airport and on a direct bus route too. We hired a car from SNAP for 3 days and we found the car company to be great. We also walked and took public transport to explore. It was so worth, taking the 40 minute ferry ride over to Waiheke Island, known for vineyards, beaches. We drove through Hamilton and Awamutu (the Rose town) on our way to visit the fascinating Waitako caves, it was such a worthwhile trip and our guide was wonderful, finishing with a Maori prayer inside the cave was so nice. Piha, famous coastal village, about 40 kilometres west of Auckland, best known for its dramatic volcanic black-iron sand, powerful surf breaks from the Tasman Sea, & framed by dramatic cliffs, native bush walks, and the striking iconic Lion Rock, and the native bush walks was Awesome. Meditating at the waterfall, sitting on this massive rock was such a great blessing Auckland kept on giving, the Museum was amazing and the winter garden was icing on the cake to end our visit. We Loved the location to the airport and motorway. Without the noise. Very spacious, great sized rooms and amenities.

The parking spot is great, EXCEPT for the fact when the neighbors park a second car out on the very narrow road you can barely get in or out of your car space. This was a very big issue the day we left to get to airport at 5.30 in the morning. We only just made it out after a 10pt turn. And having to reverse all the way down the road in the dark, and fog. This is a real concern. Maybe mow the back lawns, just to make it a nicer presentation
