The home was lovely and comfortable on the inside. The property did not have a broom, vacuum or kitchen garbage can. Recommend luggage racks or tables for clothes. The outdoor furniture was equally comfortable but was covered in bird and other animal droppings. Recommend outdoor furniture covers when the home is not in use….particularly for the outdoor dining table. Would also recommend bringing bug repellent for sitting outside and lots of wipes to clean the outdoor furniture. Enjoyed the patio and the flora / fauna - frogs, birds, deer. Despite these shortcomings, we would stay again.A note for anyone traveling to. This property in 2025. Ohio route 37 is closed for construction right at the property. Renters must access the driveway via a backroad route. This was not communicated to us in advance. Arrival instructions were inconsistent…when I called for assistance, no one responded.

My husband and I stayed at Deerfield Farm for 3 nights. It was very peaceful and secluded with all the amenities we could ask for. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately, it was quite cold (Ohio in February and March) so we couldn't take advantage of all the outside amenities, so we stayed inside by the fireplace. We had one hiccup that Stephen took care of very quickly. We will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Granville.
