Located 700 meters as the crow flies from the sea, nestled in a romantic citrus grove, Casa Bufaleria is an enchanting place to spend a rejuvenating vacation and serves as an excellent base for exploring the beauty of the Ionian coast of Calabria and the Sila Greca.
From the house, you can reach the sea (about 700 meters away) via a private road winding through the countryside, accessible by foot, bike, or car. The beach is accessed via a private entrance,
The house, an old stone building, is arranged over two floors, with separate entrances to both levels. The first floor consists of a large open space that houses the kitchen and living room. The second level is reached via an internal spiral staircase or by comfortable stone steps running along the exterior facade of the house. This is where the sleeping area is located, featuring two separate bedrooms and the bathrooms. The house offers a 360-degree view of the citrus grove, and from the terrace you can enjoy the beauty of the sunset behind the Sila Mountains every evening and the first light of dawn as the sun rises over the Ionian Sea. The house is fenced in, and the garden is equipped with a gazebo, an outdoor shower, a barbecue area, and tables and chairs for dining outdoors. It’s the ideal place for families with children, groups of friends, and animal lovers; your pets are more than welcome!
The house’s private garden measures 900 square meters and includes a designated parking area for cars.
Our large vegetable garden is at your disposal for picking and enjoying delicious vegetables and herbs.
The house is located on the border between the municipalities of Rossano and Mirto. Mirto Crosia, the nearest town, is less than one kilometer from the house and offers a wide variety of services, from grocery stores and restaurants to supermarkets and pharmacies. Mirto Crosia also has a train and bus station with connections to neighboring cities.
The seaside promenade and the historic center of Rossano are a 25-minute drive from the house.

The station is located in the town of Mirto, about 800 meters from the farm.

Take the A/3 SA-RC highway to the Sibari exit, then continue on the new SS 106 Jonica to Mirto-Crosia.
Take the A/14 highway to Taranto, then continue on the new SS 106 Jonica to Mirto-Crosia.
