Agriturismo Petrara

L'atmosfera a Petrara è meravigliosa, ci si sente a casa di amici di sempre. La colazione e la cena sono veramente di grande qualità, con prodotti locali e tanto amore nella cucina, e ancora più bello è stato condividere questi momenti con i proprietari e gli altri ospiti. Le stanze sono molto belle e curate. La zona è tranquilla, immersa nella natura ma comoda per visitare le spiagge e i boschi della Calabria. Ancora grazie ad Antonella, Antonio, Petrina e i gattini per averci accolti con il cuore aperto!

In questa struttura ti senti come se fossi a casa. Antonio e Antonella che sono i proprietari sono stati meravigliosi!!

An excellent place for those who travel by car and look for tranquil countryside lodgings with a gorgeous orchard and garden, and with all 21st century facilities in early 20th century decor (beautifully restored). The hosts are very caring and attentive, and Antonio is a walking encyclopaedia on the region (we were extremely happy with the intellectual entertainment he kindly offered us). They also have two dogs, cute and very friendly. The price includes more than decent Italian breakfast. If you fancy dinner, you will get a tasty home-made three-course meal with very good wine, all priced very reasonably. Side note: we were the only guests as we went there not in high season.

The dinner portions were just far too large for me - note that dinner is served at around between 8 and 9 pm - but my husband was more than happy with them. Also, we would wish more vegetables and less meat but, to be fair, we never mentioned that, so there was no way for Antonella to guess.
