New for 2026, we have added a Monument propane-based outdoor grill and a wood-burning fire pit with Adirondack chairs to enhance your tranquility. See added photos for details. Lastly, a damage deposit is now required. It is a VRBO "card on file" hold policy similar to a car rental or hotel stay and is charged only if damage is reported. This was added due to prior property damage not covered by the optional insurance. ***
Escape to this secluded and well-appointed 2-bedroom cabin with all the modern amenities in a serene, tranquil environment! The master bedroom features a lush queen bed with LED lighting and extra under bed storage. The master bedroom also dawns an electric fireplace and a lounger chair to fully kick back and relax. The second (guest) bedroom features a bunk bed with a plush queen mattress on bottom and a full size bed on top. There's a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace to bring everyone together. The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen in an open concept layout and includes a large island with seating for 4. There is also adjacent bartop seating for 3.
This cabin is perfect for a small to medium group of guests with the ability to sleep up to 4 adults comfortably; however, extra guest charges of $75/guest/stay apply after the 4th guest and up to the 8-guest maximum (i.e., 4 adults/4 children, 2 adults/6 children, 6 adults/2 children, etc...no more than 6 adults allowed per stay. Please review bedding arrangements prior to booking).
The property perimeter is monitored by AI video surveillance. PLEASE NOTE: NO PETS ALLOWED. A cleaning fee will be assessed if evidence is found. Moreover, breaking house rules or any deception may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

There is so much I could say about this home for the good!!!!! Great experience overall! Jeff was amazing to deal with and had a special treat when we got there. The home was as perfect as it was on the ad. So so clean and smelled amazing. Easy rules, lots of extras, pool was amazing! It was quiet and peaceful and just what I needed for a couple of days. I would highly recommend this house and the owner!!!! Can’t wait to book again.

We enjoyed a nice holiday weekend getaway with our teen daughter and her friend - this was a great place to relax and decompress after school got out for the summer. The host was very commutative and helpful, and we found everything as described. There was a nice bottle of prosecco on the kitchen island to welcome us when we arrived!The pool was a big hit for our teen girls. They enjoyed the basketball hoop and laying out on the lounge chairs with the umbrella. The outdoor TV is a nice option, too, along with a new grill on the deck! My husband and I enjoyed sipping coffee in the porch rocking chairs throughout the day. The fire pit around the corner, with four Adirondack chairs, is also great for s’mores and gathering. The bedrooms were nice with very comfy beds and TVs in each, and the spacious bathrooms with plenty of storage were great (TV and bath tub in the master).We enjoyed preparing meals in the spacious kitchen, stocked with essentials, Brookshire’s is only about 15 minutes away to pick up groceries for your stay. The surrounding neighborhood is nice to drive around, with a wide variety of homes on the lake. Mill Creek Marina is close by, for a closer view of the lake.We weren’t quite ready to leave this comfortable retreat. Our daughter really loved it and even said she wanted to live in it, which is high praise from this somewhat picky teen! All of that to say, we highly recommend this tranquil cabin for a calm and peaceful getaway from the city!

Over all stay was good. House was clean. Kitchen had every thing we needed. Linen was fresh and clean. Would have liked to have had a grill. Instructions on how to utilize the outdoor TV. Motion sensored lights in restrooms kept coming on at night with any noise. Water pressure for jet tub was super slow, ended up not using it cause it would have taken so long to fill up.
