About this house rental
Located in Charlestown, Quonnie is a beautiful, quiet southern RI enclave nestled right up against the stunning coastline. You'll have beautiful sunrise walks on an unforgettable New England beach and sunset cocktails at the small, private marina at the saltwater pond. You and your children will walk and bike with the comfort of knowing you're the priority on the small backroads of Quonnie.
Kids can crab, fish and swim at the salt-water pond, hit balls at the community courts, kick a ball or swing a bat at the ball field, play on the playground or just enjoy the beautiful beach with its private entry and parking. Parents, this is a little slice of heaven you won't find anywhere else.
Mystic Seaport is a 30 minute drive south, the zoo and Newport a 30 minute drive north (along with Jamestown, Narragansett and Wickford) and the famous Watch Hill carousel a quick 20 to the west not to mention the numerous local eating spots including The Ocean House, Weekapaug Inn, General Stanton Inn and Matunuck Oyster Bar. Unfortunately no pets allowed.

We’ve been vacationing in this neighborhood for several years, and this was our first time renting this particular home—and we’re so glad we did. The location is absolutely perfect, and the house itself was spacious, clean, and well-suited for a family of four or more. The vintage decor added a charming, nostalgic touch that made our time here feel slower, more intentional, and more present. Julie, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the whole experience even smoother. We’d happily return!
