Experience the charm of the beautiful Zilker Neighborhood and Kinney Cottage! Freshly remodeled 1950s bungalow with modern amenities and all new furnishings. Designed and furnished with coziness and relaxation in mind. Located on a quiet residential street, but close to all the action of S Lamar, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, hiking trails and more! Downtown is less than 2 miles, and is easily accessible by many modes of transportation. Great access to bike trails.
Newly renovated and freshly furnished home! Features include:
* Original hardwood floors throughout
* Top down, or top up blinds in each room allow for ample sunlight in the large windows
* Hi Speed WiFi throughout the house and back courtyard
* Washer/Dryer
* Radio & Bluetooth speaker
* Fully stocked kitchen and premium appliances/dishware for cooking
* Nespresso, Ninja coffee maker, and electric tea kettle
* Dining table seating 4
* Outdoor table/umbrella for al fresco dining in peaceful courtyard
* Front porch has Adirondack chairs for relaxing
* Smart Tv in living room
* Primary Bedroom - King bed, ample storage and closet space
* Guest Bedroom - Queen bed, ample storage and closet space, and work desk
* Both bedrooms include Nectar mattresses, alarm clocks, USB plugs, and sound machines for a restful night`s sleep
Guests have access to the entire house/property/driveway, just not the garage.

Zilker neighborhood is highly sought after neighborhood due to it`s proximity to Zilker Park and Downtown - while staying true to it`s South Austin roots. It`s walking distance to S Lamar, S 1st, and S Congress for great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops. Take a dip in Barton Springs Pool, rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards on Lady Bird Lake, or take a walk or bike around the trail. Alamo Drafthouse is in walking distance if you want to catch food with a movie, or walk to Saxon Pub for great live music. Too many great restaurants and coffee shops to name, just ask if you`d like some recommendations!
Plenty of parking at the house if you have a vehicle. Very walkable/bikeable neighborhood. Uber/Lyft/Scooters are plentiful. Nearest Cap metro bus stops are located along S Lamar which is 1-2 blocks away.
The owners have put a lot of thought and care into their home, please treat it as if it were your own. They also still come stay sporadically.
