About this house rental
L'Isle Sur Serein is a small commune in the Yonne department with 664 inhabitants.
In our cosy accommodation, you will appreciate its calm and nature with the river that runs along our property.
On foot, you will be in a few moments in the center of the village and all its amenities, such as:
-bakery,
-supermarket,
-tobacconist,
-pharmacy,
-post office,
butcher's shop...
As well as a few bars and restaurants.
Ideal starting point to visit many towns; Avallon, Noyers sur Serein which is only 15 km away by car.
Finally, also 30 minutes away, you will find the city of Vézelay and its basilica classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As you can see, our region is rich and we will be delighted to guide you and share with you our love of our beautiful region.
Emmanuelle also offers a local breakfast (extra charge) but also a table d'hôte on request.
On arrival, you can reach Emmanuelle who will be on site, the phone number will be sent to you after your reservation.

Our accommodations are an old small chapel, completely renovated, combining original elements and modernity for a smooth stay.
In absolute calm, lulled by the sound of the river, which borders the property, but in a village with all amenities.
Neighborhood information:PGJyPg�PGJyPgGetting around: PGJyPg�PGJyPgL'Isle sur Serein is located 15 minutes from the A6 motorway exit.
When you arrive, park outside, we will accompany you to your gîte and then you can bring your vehicle closer to unload your belongings.
The keys will be given to you at this time.

Downstairs: Kitchen open to living room 1 sofa bed 1 oven & 1 hob 1 fridge Coffee machine Toaster Kettle
Upstairs: 1 bedroom (double bed) 1 bathroom (shower and toilet)

Emmanuelle and Gracco are very friendly landlords. The vacation home was perfectly prepared for us upon our arrival. They even provided us with a few basic groceries for the first day and some sweets. The cottage is very lovingly and fully furnished. It is perfect for a vacation for two in northern Burgundy. Despite temperatures of up to 38C, we were able to maintain very pleasant temperatures in the cottage. However, it is also very easy to ventilate.The outdoor area around the house is very spacious, and there is also a large garden that guests can use. Apart from the very “interesting” ringing of the nearby church bell, it is absolutely quiet in the house and on the property.If we ever vacation in this area again, we would love to come back here.
