For getting lost in a French novel (in a century of your choice)

We went for a long-weekend leisure getaway, and the place is perfect for that. It's on the outskirts of the anyway tiny charming town of Avallon, so one can get around on foot or hop with the car in no time. It's a full size two-bedroom apartment that has all the comfort even for a longer stay. It's very well maintained and met us impeccably clean. We especially loved the garden, the French stereotype at its best, together with the fresh pastry delivered by a local baker every morning, oh, la la.

Zeer ruim appartement op wandelafstand van het centrum.

De dagelijkse levering van vers brood en koeken. Zeer ruim appartement voorzien van alle faciliteiten op wandelafstand van het historische centrum (20 min tot Place Vauban).

Nogal ingewikkelde procedure voor de sleutels bij aankomst en vertrek, maar de eigenares was beschikbaar voor hulp. Er was mogelijkheid om de auto binnen te parkeren, maar de inrit via de poort was zeer smal. Aan te raden is om de auto buiten de poort te laten staan (waar ruimte genoeg is).

les grandes chambres les viennoiseries livrées le matin la fraîcheur de la maison pendant la canicule le petit supermarché accessible à pied propriétaire très disponible

la proximité d'une rue assez passante. Nous aurions aimé avoir un peu plus de couverts et des plats compatibles micro ondes

Pour nous c'était un gîte de dépannage, mais nous préférons la campagne.

Hôtesse attentionnée. Intérieur très propre. Équipement complet et en excellent état. Literie confortable. Agréable jardin.

Rue très passante et dès bonne heure le matin. Calme le soir seulement. Loin du centre, voiture obligatoire.

Gite bien pratique pour découvrir Avallon et sa région

Le petit jardin bien équipé (chaises longues, table, chaises, parasol) Le local spacieux et fermé pour les vélos La disponibilité et la réactivité de notre hôte La proximité du centre-ville (5 minutes à vélo) Le chat :-) (qui se promène parfois dans le jardin est très discret et pas du tout dérangeant)

Aux heures de pointe il y a passablement de bruit (la maison est vraiment très proche de la route)

Agréable Gîte très spacieux !!

Le très bon accueil téléphonique de la propriétaire qui a mis tout en oeuvre pr que nous soyons au mieux...😉 Le gîte très spacieux avec le choix des équipements, la bonne literie. L'agréable jardin fleuri. Le parking privé et très sécurisé. La proximité du centre ville qui correspondait à notre attente. Avant tout la possibilité d'avoir un bon petit déjeuner, le boulanger passant tous les jours nous laisser ce que nous avions choisi avec l'hôtesse 👍👍

Un peu de bruit en journée route passante à certaines heures mais très calme la nuit.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable

La Maison est spacieuse et vraiment bien chauffée l'hiver. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très sympathiques. Nous saluons leur réactivité lorsque nous avons eu besoin d'eux. Les lits sont très confortables et les croissants et pain frais au petit déjeuner chaque matin c'est vraiment appréciable. L'emplacement est légèrement éloigné du centre-ville mais facilement accessible à pieds. Avallon est une ville pleine de charme avec beaucoup de lieux à visiter et à découvrir. Les habitants sont également très sympathiques.

Une Petite table dans la cuisine serait appréciable. Un peu bruyant la nuit le week-end avec la circulation mais supportable.

maison spacieuse, très bien équipée, très propre et bien chauffée. parking privé. Nous avons apprécié les baguettes et les viennoiseries à notre porte chaque matin. Nous avons apprécié les échanges avec le propriétaire et l’accueil très chaleureux de la personne de la conciergerie.

Excellent séjour Bien reçus, bien installés, bien nourris le matin... que demander de plus ?

Le gite est grand, bien équipé, lumineux et bien situé dans la ville (ni trop à l'écart ni trop au centre. Les Hôtes sont très sympathiques et attentionnés; le petit déjeuné qui est fourni est un modèle du genre, avec du pain et de la viennoiserie toute chaude accrochée à la porte tôt le matin, et il n'y a plus qu'à se préparer sa boisson (thé, café et chocolat fournis) pour se régaler (beurre et confiture aussi sont fournis. Excellente expérience que nous recommandons fortement

Il manque, à mon avis, un portant dans les chambres, pour suspendre les vêtements
