About this chalet rental
In this little red cottage located in Mörtefors, you will live comfortably and in a peaceful environment.
Via the entrance you enter a small hall. Then you enter the kitchen, which has seating for 4 - 6 people. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and a TV. Adjacent is the bathroom, which has both a toilet, shower and a washing machine. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms with two single beds in each. The house is located in a nice and beautiful environment and close to several lakes. In one you will find the rowing boat if you would like to try your luck at fishing.
To see and do in Virserum and the surrounding area
In Virserum you will find grocery stores, pizzerias, Virserum's art gallery, Sweden's only telemuseum, dress cycling and the Dackestupet ski area with the opportunity to indulge in mountain biking, trail running and various hiking along trails.
It only takes 30 minutes to Vimmerby with the theater park "Astrid Lindgrens Värld" which offers fantastic performances with, among others, Pippi Longstocking and Emil in Lönneberga. In Vimmerby there is also Kalles Lek & Latjo, which is a large playland for children. For those interested in motorcycles, a visit to the MX World Collection can be a fun experience. This is one of Europe's largest motocross/motorcycle museums. They have a collection of over 350 different bikes and it is a world-unique collection you can view on site.
Just outside Vimmerby, you can go to Bullerbyn and also visit Katthult, where the Emil movies were shot. If you want to experience moose up close and also pet them, you can go to Virum moose park.
In Kleva mine you can visit a closed mine but also try washing gold. Take a trip to the beautiful coastal town of Västervik and take a boat trip out into the fantastic archipelago. You can also visit the famous glass factory "Kosta Boda" and the design hotel Kosta Boda Art Hotel, which is decorated with art glass.
