Unique Apartment'KONAKI'

The location was exactly right for what we had planned in week long holiday on 3 wheeled trike exploring ancient ruins, mountains and walking (October). Super inspiring views, ruins, chapel and wildlife on top ridge of local Juktas mountain close by. Also the walk to nearby Phourni woodland, view to sea and yellow sandstone cliff gorge excellent. Our lucky upgrade to a larger apartment as the kitchen had more facilities and more space very good. Well equipped with everything in good working order, safe and clean with good balcony area. Good rural village location (convenient for Heraklion, but away from busy city).

Both airport transfer taxis could not seem to locate the property exactly, but this was no problem, we just walked down the street to meet them. A extra few pillows and a couple of rugs for floors would be nice.

Une adresse erronée ce qui m’a valu des désagréments à l’arrivée. Absence de consignes pour récupérer la clé avant l’arrivée et au départ. Une absence de rideaux corrects ou de volets pour cacher la lumière (ce qui est un comble parce qu’on choisit un lieu évidemment aussi pour bien dormir !). L’absence de moustiquaire dans la chambre (pourquoi pas dans la chambre mais une dans la salle de bains ?)

Location and outdoor patio were nice. The place was clean and the bathroom was great. The host was wonderful, very responsive, and proactive in suggestions for the area

Overall, the apartment was great - and certainly as advertised. A small table in the "kitchen" area would have been really nice, as would a kitchen sink.
