Casa Playa Resort

The location is bar none, right on the beach. The pool gets sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. There are tables, lounge chairs, regular chair all around the pool as well as by the gazebo for beach use. The apartment is well stocked in the kitchen and the view is awesome. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. I did not have contact with the staff since i got the door code through email. Everything is very clean.

Great spot for vacation. It's a quieter part of Fort Myers Beach. The beach area itself is right in front of the hotel. You can take sunbeds and umbrellas (most of them looked fresh and nice when we were there) from a storage downstairs. They offer free margaritas for the guests. Our room was large, comfy and well equipped. My wife liked the second sink in the bathroom in particular. Balcony is nice. Plenty of parking spots

Check-in wasn't smooth because nobody contacted us upfront. When we arrived the office was already closed so we had no idea how to get in. Had to look up for the phone number in the booking reference and call the emergency line to find out about the door code. Be aware that this area is a sea turtle nesting spot. So there are strict regulations about keeping the lights out and closing the curtains from 9pm to 7am every day during the half of the year. Balconies are not really open, but covered with very little grain grid which spoils the view. But it seems to be a common problem in all the properties nearby. The AC was hard to control, the system was not sensitive and intuitive. The closet in the room all of a sudden was full of construction material leftovers. And we heard construction works on another floor above us.

Escellent location. Just steps from beach. Great atmosphere and several places to eat and spend time with family.

The location was excellent and the outdoor facilities were well maintained and provided everything you need for the beach.

The room was right next to the elevator with poor sound deadening. Made it hard to sleep. There were no lights, other than the overhead. Seeing inside the room at night was challenging. The material condition of the unit was not great. Could not get the ac to work, bed drawers broken and sink in the bathroom is coming off the wall.
