    I booked a room to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. He was visiting from New York. We were so happy with our stay the pool the beach, the bar free margaritas on Tuesday. I can't say enough about the property. We will definitely be back.

    Beautiful hotel and beach with a great breakfast each day. Within walking distance to downtowns shops and restaurants. Hotel is back to normal after hurricane, however not all shops and restaurants are. There was not much traffic which was nice to be able to get around quickly and not have the normal beach traffic.

    Gary the front desk manager was HORRIBLE & really soured our check in experience! If we could cancel our reservation & leave we would have. Well he refused to provide me his name when i asked for it, but other Pink Shell staff said it was Gary, and guests frequently complain about him. WARNING- Don’t book thru a 3rd party travel site or you will be treated like a 2nd class citizen. Really should be a notice on the Pink Shell website NOT to book thru any other travel site. I’m not sure why they bother even contracting with expedia or any other travel site with Gary’s attitude toward ‘3rd party guests’. He claims the hotel doesn’t get payment only Expedia so they are unable & unwilling to help or accommodate in any way. I have upset kids looking at a view of an ‘adult pool’, they can’t swim in. It’s not even marked on hotel maps as an ‘adult pool’ (See attached hotel guest map). Beware! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! False advertising! UPDATE: Put our 3 year old in a room without a bathtub, the shower door is such a poor design you have walk completely into the shower to turn water on & get soaked with cold water. Children can’t reach any of the soaps, luke warm water at best. If the weather is cold in florida- this is NOT the place to be, bathroom cold & drafty, heat doesn’t work well either. Hotel room phone doesn’t work either.
