Villa Snoppy

Despite it being close to the noisy strip, the villa is in peaceful area with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts are very accommodating also.

Musty smell probably due to a lack of ventilation.

The location of the property was ideal for our needs. The swimming pool and outdoor area was fantastic for the children. The inside was very quirky, very mismatched wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste but fine by us as the good weather meant we were outside most of the time, Two really good showers with plenty of hot water. Plenty of blankets if needed as it cooled off at night.

The numbers we were given to confirm arrival 30 minutes before would not connect. The villa had a musty smell when did get in but once doors and windows opened it lifted, The rubbers on surround of the window in the first bedroom on the right came away when we opened this window so we kept it shut. There is a lot of dried flowers around which are full of dust. In the kitchen the utensils were a real mismatch with chipped and cracked plates, one decent mug for a coffee. The standard of cleaning was poor but I went and bought some multipurpose cleaner and wizzed around and freshened up. Outside the sun-beds were a disgrace, absolutely filthy, so the multipurpose cleaner came in handy, we carried the loungers over to the hose pipe and hosed them down and then scrubbed with cleaner I had bought, came up as good as new, although one was cracked and another had bit of tear in. Lots of plant pots round the pool, all with dead foliage in and quite a few weeds coming through tiles. Just got the feeling that we probably first people of the season and the small details had not been addressed, having said that has not put us off booking again because the location and outdoor space is great for us.
