About the Area: - The home is located in Towamensing Trails, a private residential community with a beautiful 190-acre lake. Towamensing is a Le napa Indian word that means Nature's Wonders. - 15 minutes to skiing at Big Boulder Ski Resort. - 15 minutes to hike trails at Hawk Falls in Hickory Run State Park. - 20 minutes to skiing at Jack Frost Ski Resort. - 20 minutes to Jim Thorpe, a charming village with lots of shops and restaurants. - 20 minutes to the all-season Split Rock Resort with an indoor Water Park open all year. - 30 minutes to The Crossings Premium Outlets. Seasonal Amenities from Memorial Day to Labor Day: - A recreational center with a pavilion, lounge, and snack bar (Clubhouse Towamensing). - Outdoor picnic area, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, and playground. - 2 outdoor pools (plus a kiddie pool), beach, and lake access with kayak and paddle board rentals. - A stocked lake where fishing is allowed with PA Fishing License (catch-and-release). Children under 5 do not need a wristband. Wristband must be worn on wrist at all times when using community amenities. - All trash/garbage MUST be removed from the exterior of the house and grounds when terminating your stay and brought to the dumpster. - There is a strict no open fire and no firework rule in this community. - Hot Tub Rules are posted on-premise and must be followed. - The community amenity rules and schedule are subject to potential changes, particularly in the event of unforeseen circumstances, as determined by the community. Pocono Rentals and Management has no direct control over these alterations. By booking this home, you understand that we are not obligated to offer compensation or refund for cancellation. - An additional sleeping option is available with the pull-out sleep sofa. - This home does not have private trash collection, thus trash will have to be brought to the community compactor. - You must be 28 years or older to book this home. - This home is located in the Towamensing Trails community. While it is not gated, registration is required before check-in. We will provide more details about this requirement once your reservation is confirmed. - Guests are not allowed to bring their own kayaks or watercraft. Parking Details A maximum of 7 cars can park onsite. All vehicles must display vehicle passes while in the community. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed w/ ensuite Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / Full bed Bedroom 4 / Queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed Living Room / Sofa bed --- This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
