Farmhouse in Suffolk with wild swimming & hot tub

It was a very charming farmhouse, extremely comfortable with a fabulous outlook across the lake and surrounding countryside.

The stairs to the top floor where the bedrooms are located are fairly steep but, if you navigate them slowly it’s perfectly fine.

It was beautiful. The house was stunning and absolutely perfect for a group to spend time together. We didn't need to leave the property at all. The owners were very accommodating when we asked to bring in a sauna and the view over the pond from the sauna was lovely. The play barn was fab and we even had visits from next doors peacock. Perfectly peaceful. Loved it and will be returning next year.

The mattresses in a couple of the rooms weren't great. That's it!

We loved the setting, such beautiful surroundings. The house is beautiful and full of character. The games barn is fabulous. It was amazing to see all the wildlife just in the garden. The kitchen was very well equipped.

The hot tub is a rather long way from the house and the area wasn’t lit but I think that is due to an electrical issue. Personally we found the wood burning hot tubs are time consuming to set up and this didn’t work for us.

Mel & Gary were both brilliant and completely accommodating to any of our needs/requests. They made the entire stay seamless. Everything about this property was thought out for people’s stay even down to a huge bonfire already built which we lit on the last night. Everything we needed was there, we were all honestly blown away. Even with a bunch of kids we still managed to find moments to relax. Cannot tell you how many friends messaged all of us asking where we were staying. Thank you for the wonderful visit, we will be back for sure.
