Besterfield Villa

The property was lovely. All the positives, great size. Comfortable in many ways. Most things that you would need for longer stay. We stayed for 8 nights. Barendina was very helpful.

A few things that we did not like. Coming from overseas, I would have loved to see a hairdryer as it’s hard to travel with one if you have limited space. Internet did not work at all. We just could not connect. Making it very hard for my daughter to work remotely. She had to work while visiting my dad during the day. Also for us, because of contacting our loved ones back home in Australia, we had to use roaming. One bed was very hard and super uncomfortable. I slept in the one opposite bathroom. It was okay but the other room was very hard. Positives really outweighed the negative but these. Are just three suggestions for improvement. For longer stays a washing machine in cottage would have been lovely.

Neat as a pin.. Thanks Barendina for a beautiful cottage. Hubby and I were able to relax and recharge in a beautiful setting- so quite and peaceful. Thanks for the filter water, Nescafe sachets and milk. We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect.

Well equipped, clean and homely. Really nice place. Will definitely stay here again. Barendina is so friendly and an excellent host!!!

Loved everything

A lovely, cozy villa. Great attention to detail… Everything you need and little extras. Very comfortable bed and had a warm stay in cold weather. Friendly and helpful host. Will definitely stay again.
